Followed a Ti grey on barlow yesterday at about 9:30 for a block or two until 32 ave. Anyone here?

 

Probably my mistake. You were quite a ways ahead of me by the time I got around the truck in front of me. (just coming off of the interchange)

Looked like Phantom Blue... but it was probably just too early in the AM for me.


Spotted a nice shiny Black 8, (yes... definitely BLACK), on Harvest Hills Drive this AM .... just before 0800. Anyone here??

today was a huge spotting day for me .

this morning i passed a white 8 on memorial/center st
on the way home i passed a blue 8 on the deerfoot / memorial exit
and then your red 8 on memorial/10th

 

Let's get something straight...I PASSED YOU! We all know that the VR RX8's are the fastest.

 

Saw a WWP on Crowchild northbound + bow trail around 8:20am

 

Saw a silver Rx8 in the chinook underground parking today at about 630ish. Also saw a sick VR with black rims driving into marbourough area off of 36th st. Just as a side not, does anyone know of a good place in calgary that would powder coat rims, im thinking that a flat black or darker grey will look pretty sweet with Ti Grey.

 

spotted a Ti-Grey at Nosehill+Country Hills...Around 6:15pm.

 

Totally OT, but since Sp-Blend asked.... what about tint. Anyone have any recommendations? A couple of buddies of mine did a Benz and a Caddy at Car Salon on 32nd Ave NE ...they say it was ok, but... anyone have any comments/experiences? (seriously scared about having this done by the wrong place!)

Often see a yellow 8 <rare?> on 19StNW near Kensington - to and from work - seems to always be parked when I zoom by... ;-)

Great pics ,,,, thanks for posting, i just posted earlier tonight wondering about pics of the ms kits and how the rear bumper and or rear flares would look. I think i'm goin with the front bumper, full side skirts and rear flares... that way i can do the rear fog light install.

i saw a black 8 in 14st/5ave around 1:45pm today, and a gray 8 on mcleod trail by humpties around 6pm

Yes, that's my car. I had them install the MS Sport Exhaust with the dual muffler. That exhaust is sweet --- makes a deeper and more aggressive sound.

I may be buying a MS exhaust soon as well. how much was the install?


Also, where did you get your MS kit installed?

 

I bought the system from North Hill (they gave me a 15% discount) but if you want them to just install the exhaust, I believe they quoted me $179 + GST.

I had my MS kit installed by National Collision but I can't say that I recommend them.

I had my exhaust installed by a place acorss from Chinook.. Caroline .. muffler or watever. It is highly recommended by alot of people and it costed me $125 for the install.

 

Oh, how much is it after 15%? Because it's about 750 USD total to get it online. Damn $179 to install is kind of expensive. I may just buy a jack and stands to do it myself if that's the case.

 

Well if you guys see me I'm the only with MB plates and an RX8 that I know of...I've seen plenty of other RX8s though.

 

Okay, after the 15% discount, I paid $820 + GST = $861.00 installed. I thought that's pretty good since Kramer Mazda quoted me $1200 installed. The Mazda dealership in North Carolina where I bought my MS Kit from has the MS Sport Exhaust listed at around $620 U.S. I think. So after shipping and taxes and installation, it would have been more expensive for me to buy it down in the States. I dealt with the Parts Manager at North Hill (her first name is Shawn or Sean) and she gave me the discount over the phone - really nice lady to deal with.
