Thanks SlowLude, nice pics by the way. I'm still undecided, i gota look into other kits too i think. Does the mazdaspeed kit come painted? I'm thinking other kits may be cheaper but have to be painted.. i'm not sure. Any good places around Calgary selling them? I'm definatly up for a spring ride if anyone else is too.

I used to ride my CBR 600RR thru the Highwood Pass( past Longview/Okotokes area) and come out near Banff, then back to Calgary. It's a nice run, but not sure when the pass opens.

Thanks! The kit can come painted or just primed. Mine is painted. And Phil is correct... the MS kit is probably the best fit you'll get in a body kit. It is a bit expensive, but you save on the paint, the install and it will last through many years of abuse especially if you plan to drive during the winter. I got mine from Tunerworks cuz I had to order from States, but I don't know if you can get it cheaper now via the dealer. If I didn't get the MS kit, I'd get the Knight or Mint Blue kit. Let us know what you decide on! And lets organize a meet.. Looks like we have a few more colors.

i would say the crowsnest pass towards sparwood and fernie. very nice sightings down that way and the roads get really fun out that way besides the mountains are some amazing to look at i think we could get some really nice pics :D

Strange day today. Ok, so ever since I got a kid, I've been driving the 8 *maybe* twice a month. (I don't drive to work.) So I get to drive the 8 today and I see 4 RX-8s on the road in a timespan of 1 hour:
1 TiGray on Sarcee turning left on Richmond Rd.
1 TiGray on Glenmore by the Grey Eagle casino.
1 40th Anniversary 8 on Richmond Rd. (The first I've ever seen!)
1 TiGray on Sarcee West turning onto 17th Ave.
(And yes, I live in Westhills so I travel Sarcee and Richmond a lot!) So how come during the meets all I see are WB 8s? Too bad I couldn't stop to say hi to the 40th Ann. guy... he was the only one that seemed remotely interested in seeing another 8! I was totally ignored by the other ones.
And whoever is lucky enough to buy my 8 when I sell it will enjoy a super low-mileage 8! Too bad people will think its a new engine.

Today on Barlow south right after 16th ave i saw a Red Rx-8 that hard been in a accident 
. Didn't look to bad but definately had some front damage. Hope that wasn't any of ours on the forum.

lol its still sitting in my garage!! not sure if I will have time to put it on this year~ lots of shops are booked up and I'm going to HK in less than 2 months for at least 2months.. we will see...
