saw a lightning yellow today on country hills+sarcee...

saw a bright yellow RX-8 yesterday at about 4:15 on Deerfoot North by Deerfoot Meodows mall....... still my favourite color, but i wasnt able to find a used one i like... so bought a white one, the second best color

 

Hehe, I think yellow is a decent color on the 8's. I just wish the Yellow had a bit more orange hue in it, like the S2000 yellow. The RX-8 yellow is too mellow-y, just like the Toyota Celica yellow. Not a huge fan.

My fav 8 colors = 1. Black cherry 2. white 3. wb

 

saw a dark color rx8, kinda like dark blue or dark green or a real dirty BB being driven by a woman(or white guy with long hair) at front of ICT building of UofC.

Ok this is driving me nuts! I keep seeing this cute asian girl in a VR rx8 (completely stock with OEM spoiler) driving around the Sunridge Mall area and also over by SAIT. I swear she's following me because I see her 2 or 3 times per week. Got to find a way to stop and get her number.

Anyways, I saw a black audi R8 with silver siding yesterday on nosehill + country hills blvd, going nw on country hills. Yeah it's not a rx-8, but it's still an 8!!!! I was so excited I tried to chase it because it was my first time seeing a R8. Too bad I was at the redlight on nosehill waiting to turn onto country hills. Or I would had snapped pics...

Just had a slightly dirty BB behind me on Charleswood, just outside ICT building at UoC. Around 2:05pm.

 

spotted WWP 8, blonde female driver parked at Esso On the run on country hills blvd and citadel gate...around 7:55pm

 

alot of RX8s popping up in lot 32 lately. Saw a blue, a sliver and a Red one.. and the red one is the same as the one in art parkade w/ the exhaust. all the 8s are bone stock

 

Strange day today. Ok, so ever since I got a kid, I've been driving the 8 *maybe* twice a month. (I don't drive to work.) So I get to drive the 8 today and I see 4 RX-8s on the road in a timespan of 1 hour:

1 TiGray on Sarcee turning left on Richmond Rd.
1 TiGray on Glenmore by the Grey Eagle casino.
1 40th Anniversary 8 on Richmond Rd. (The first I've ever seen!)
1 TiGray on Sarcee West turning onto 17th Ave.

(And yes, I live in Westhills so I travel Sarcee and Richmond a lot!) So how come during the meets all I see are WB 8s? Too bad I couldn't stop to say hi to the 40th Ann. guy... he was the only one that seemed remotely interested in seeing another 8! I was totally ignored by the other ones.

And whoever is lucky enough to buy my 8 when I sell it will enjoy a super low-mileage 8! Too bad people will think its a new engine.

you live pretty close to me. i always went to westhill theater when i had a girlfriend cuz the closer distance saves more gas especially for our 8s. are you selling it?

 

No... I'll keep the car for a few more years at least. Ever since I saw the MS 8 concept (silver one), it's been my dream car. I am, however, focusing on getting a luxury sedan... but I'll probably not be able to afford one for some time. I also want to buy the GT-R or the next Supra. So many cars.. so little time!
