Ok....I was at Downtown Mazda and they have a few Rx-8's on the lot.
Out front they have a Shinka, that looks like a demo car (dirty front rims and a couple of them curbed).
But right beside it, there is a nordic green Rx-8 (I walked right up to it). Unless my eyes are deceiving me....

Are we getting the Nordic Green coming to Canada in the 2006 Model year?!?

Who at Mazda thought that Nordic Green was going to be popular??? They should have kept Yellow.

 

I love the Green. If we had it here in 2004 I may have got one...
It looks black in some light and dark green in others.
Reminds me of the British Racing Green.

 

Yep, I like the green, too, which is why I got mine in that colour. It can also look blue or purple, depending on lighting conditions. The metal flake has all those colours in it.

Myself, I think the yellow's too flashy... but that's just me. I don't mind standing out in a crowd but I don't want to be screaming loud, either.

i was told that the greens went to fast because of the color. the dealerships out here said they cant get them for the 05 year anymore. it was because of the resemblance to the british racing green that they went so fast (so their assumption is at performance mazda). sales guy told me that out of the first five 8s they sold this year, 3 were the greens they had been allotted...

 

Green and white are the new color's this year for Canada and they got rid of the yello (so i've been told)

 

I don't really like the green or the yellow..My fav is TIT GREY AND THE WHITE IS pretty sharp looking as long as the windows are tinted...I find the black does not show the definition good enough and red..well everyone seem to have red...Blue is nice too!

 

I originally wanted Titanium Grey with chap leather--but I ended up with Nordic green and aftermarket black/tan leather. I'm glad I did--it reminds me of my Montego Blue FD I use to have. All my cars have either been white or green. Miata and FD were Montego Blue, RX8 Nordic Green, 3000GT was white, and my two Millenia Ss were white.

 

The first 8 I ever saw in person was Nordic green. It was parked at Ryerson with NY plates.
