holy geez mother of god I almost got killed an hour ago...
was driving in that covered area next to BC place and was enjoying carving up the nice S curves they got there
no traffic so I stayed in the centre lane (3 lanes in that area)
out of NOWHERE this blue last gen ford explorer comes to me HEAD ON didn't even have time to flash my highbeams or honk. It's a ONE WAY road. was going about 80 in mid left turn and I braked and swerved to my left. ESP flashed and ABS came on and he missed me by half a metre or so (he was probably doing at least 70 as well).
I check in my rearview mirror and the moron's still driving away ACTUALLY YAPPING ON HIS CELL PHONE!
I hope no one was behind me.....
anyways... if I was in my old SUV I would've rolled or clipped him for sure.... the 8 was never even close to out of control, mind you I basically twisted the wheel 90 degrees in .2 seconds going at 80 and slaming on the brakes
my 8's getting a nice oil change and a good wax and detailing next week I think it deserves it :p

 

Sounds like it will be just in time for all of us to get together and admire the wax job

All I can say is, Thank God you are ok, that would probably make most people crap thier pants.... nice driving Titus

 

I'd give the car all the credits though :p
he came at me so fast I didn't even get time to crap my pants! almost traget fixated on his headlights!
but yea... just becareful out there in vancouver....
