AEM CAI problems got you down? But there hasn't been much snow at all lately.. did you run the car through a carwash?

 

na since i put it in its been giving me misfires and the engine light flashes and stays on
such a pain in the *** and my mazda dealer is the worst dealer ever theres always problems with those guys

Anyway, based on Footman's ARR (**** Retentive Research, trademarked) and his own omfg got pwned at 401 experience (TM) is that if you want trouble free driving of the Rx8 in the winter with minimum effort, DO NOT PUT THE AEM STYLE CAI IN THE CAR.

I'm on my first complete winter experience with the stock intake + K&N filter... so far no problems whatsoever!

Performance loss/gain? we all know what the AEM CAI can do if anything....

 

Well AEI / Mazdaspeed CAI is the best according to the Grand Am teams running those 3rotors...

They actually use STOCK OEM RX8 PAPER FILTER instead of the oily K&N shxt. Oh well.
