RX8's at Probart Mazda

Went to Probart Mazda in London today for oil change and saw 3 8's. Two ti grey and one blue up on the hoist with license starting with "Yeik...". Anybody hear? Hope all's well.

Ok maybe nobody here. I am seeing more 8's in London these days, mostly stock, and talked to maybe 5 owners but none of them come here.

I was at Probart yesterday (13th) to get my winters put on. There was a guy with a black 8 with non-stock rims getting something done. He looked too cocky for me to bother striking up a conversation tho. :P

Apparently I need new front brakes (rotors and pads) costing $850! Probably going to shop around and I posted some questions here. How have you liked Probart? They`ve been hit and miss for me. Usually pretty good but the last time... yeesh (see my post in the brakes section if you`re interested). They did do their best to make amends but still...

I have one of the two Black Cherry 05 special editions sold in London. I`ve never seen the second one though but met a few others. Maybe I`ll see ya around.

Justarius,

Sorry to hear about your brake situation. I haven't read your other thread but I'll try to remember to look for it.

I agree ... Probart isn't always so great. Do you remember when there was another mazda dealer (Mazda East, I think)? It was nice when I could choose a dealership and there was some competition (when I had an MX3). For now, Probart seems ok although they don't seem to know all that much about the rx8. But I've spent a lot already through them, learning their names and talking with mechanics, so I hope they won't d1ck me around when I'm in need.

I will look for your black cherry (sounds weird...!) but hopefully not at Probart right?
