Just as essentialspeed eluded to, should we not call the club RX8 Club of Ontario rather then Toronto?

I know the Manager of Erin Mills Mazda and could probably get some discounts for club members. I believe they are affiliated with 2 other Mazda dealerships so this could spread to more accessibility. I also know the Parts manager of Prima Mazda so I may be able to get something going there too.

 

I'll bring up the "club" idea this Saturday night.

 

RX8 Club of Toronto was the original thoughts that was brought up here I'm personally not hung up on names. The more people are involved the better for everyone.

Ok boys and girls,

Just something I drummed up for a possible logo. Now a logo is just a logo until we have members and things to do, deals to have and whatever your sick minds can come up with.

Is this the proverbial carrot? Sure why not. I have some free time (not much) to do graphics and logos, as well as help with the marketing side things. With that said. We need to find someone who can organize all the logistic side of things (if you could see my home office desk...well, heck, tell me where it is, I've been looking for it for a number of years myself. So I wouldn't be the person to do that organizing stuff ) Anyone what to volunteer or nominate someone?


Although the RX-8 is chromed out here, for printed/branded items, I would change it to a solid colour. So no worries.

When it's all in chrome, it looks kinda of weird...you need colour to have things "pop", but I'll see what I can do. The Ontario in black, no sweat--I can do that sometime this week.

cubakid - What needs to be organized? Good question. What do we all want from this? I personally would like to see this a free membership club if that is possible. With that said, let's make a wish list of what we want, perhaps that's a good start.

-Meets (duh)
-Driving trips (pending gas costs, I have a nice drive in mind up to Algonquin Park--yup there's a highway that goes through it :D )
-Discounts on 8 stuff
-SWAG
-bodyshops ratings, Dealer ratings etc. (though that can be done here..so I dunno)
