Pulled up behind a VR on Cedarhill this morning around 3:50. He/she pulled over to let me by. Thanks, I got to work just on time.

 

Saw 3, yes 3 8's today on my way to Burlington from London to, pick up my newly purchased rx8. The first was in london, on the veterans memorial parkway, it was like 2 45, and the car was a grey color, and heading north. 2nd was on the 401, about 10 km east of the Veterans memorial parkway, again grey color, heading west. 3rd, was on the 403, hamilton area, it was a VR heading east, but took an off ramp as soon as i saw it.

The bad news, was I got all the way to Burlington, for them to tell me it was saftied (brand new rotors/pads all the way around, and 2 new tires) BUT, it is suddenly misfiring badly, so they're sending it to Burlington Mazda in the morning to get it fixed. Im hoping for new coils/plugs/wires, but with my luck, they'll be cheap and replace 1 coil, or plug

 

Just last week I parked right beside another '06 Copper Red Shinka at First Markham Place...exact same color, same year. It was pretty cool seeing 2 8s beside each other of the same model & color.

 

ok...heres a question why is it that every time i happen to see an 8 they look at me like i have antlers

 

maybe cuz it's rare to see another 8 on the road (esp when it rlli stands out, in a good way)

 

there are 3 rx8s i see in guelph now on a somewhat regular basis, and all of them are old people. i wave and they dont even look at me. the local rx7 guys are always up for exchanging greetings though. "Why do porsche 944s keep waving at me?" lol.

 

Saw a Silver Rx8 with Mazdaspeed rear and wing on Tuesday night around hw7 and leslie...

 

Black Rx8 with TURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRBO and a mazdaspeed rear wing going north on leslie passing 407.

I think I saw it in Mosport DDT track sometime before...maybe its not the same car.

I giggle like a school girl when I hear the BOV sound and pull alongside and gave the asian dude a thumbs up!

Looking at his car running in front...just makes me feel so happy. The mazdaspeed wing + modified exhaust + rx8 design really makes the car stands out a lot. Oh wait, thats just like my car hahaha!

 

Saw a Titanium Grey 8, bone stock with steelies (prolly winters). You are an asian dude with an asian girlfriend. You were pumping gas at Petro Canada Hwy 7/Kennedy and then you went inside to pay for your ****.

 

Footman you shoulda rolled up and be like

"Yo baby this 8 is much better! and also much BIGGER!" HAHAHAHAHA

I may be guilty of this Schnipster. I've seen you a couple of times recently in Stouffville but never driving. I was just tryin' to see whos car it was. Nice to see another 8 running around town it was looking real nice on the weekend. Next time I'll wave. I'm the Ti grey with steels on.

I keep seeing this WB at my buddy's place. The plate is XXX KEH so it's gotta be someone in their 50's at least. Or... they're driving daddy's car.

One day going to work I was beside a TI driving back and forth with them all the way to the 400.

I think I saw the same car coming home from work on the 407 one day too.

 

ya, for a while all i ever saw at work were VRs, Sunlight Silvers and the odd black one. now all of a sudden its TiGs everywhere. when i was looking for an rx8 thats the colour i wanted, but couldnt find one anywhere close...i almost hate seeing them becaues thats what i really wanted. oh well, the VR has grown on me and it looks awesome in the sunlight...which we arent getting these days it seems

 

My fav. is still Copper Red, love it and you don't see very many of them!

 

hah... tell me about it. I had seen like one Tig before buying my car. Then the day I pick it up I saw 3 of them! Now they're everywhere. I need to figure out a way of getting like 2k fast so I can mazdaspeed her up and be the only one around
