The reason we meet at Kennedy Commons is because it's pretty central to those of us that regularly meet up every friday.
Myself and Mafiaboy come from Whitby, Gman froms Oshawa, a few others coming from from this area as well. Others are in Scarborough, Markham, Richmond Hill, Vaughan and North York.
Last week someone came from Brampton.

Many don't come because driving for more than 15 minutes to a meet is difficult or they're too cheap to pay for gas.

 

I'm coming from courtice.. I don't mind meeting at kennedy commons easy to get to and easy to get home . That my opinon ...

 

Certainly we can try a different spot though. What do you have in mind? Don't be disappointed if your choice doesn't pan out, it doesn't always work out for the regular spots either, you just have to try and see!

 

Anyone heading to ertefa tonight? I think people are meeting at red maple and 7 at 8;30

 

I know one of my RX-7 FD friend is going tonight, but not sure if he will pre-meet at red maple and HW7 or not. Seems not much 8 owners are up for Ertefa, some just show up on their own, or with their friends.

 

The weather is going to be prime for Ertefa tonite.
Defintely going to be there. I think I'll be having dinner at the Kelseys (?) there. This way I can avoid the parking confusion...

 

you guys will be waiting in a very long lineup at 9ish.
Last time I was there police were already redirecting traffic to the sides because the main driveway into the parking lot was jammed.

 

Ertefa is nuts. I went once last year when it was at the AMC parking lot and I can't believe how many cars were there.
It's not my scene, way too many cops plus idiots driving around.
Also I found that for every one cool car there are about ten pieces of ****.

 

Based on the fact that there is no other proposed locations and it's already 5pm on Thursday I say we meet at Kennedy Commons tomorrow night since the weather is supposed to be nice and hot.

I should be there for around 9pm.

I'd have too agree on that. I enjoyed the meet, until some ricer in his civic almost clipped my car and took out my buddy on his bike going on the 400 on-ramp heading south.
I just don't get it.

What exactly happpened ?

 

It wasn't that incident, but could've been another.

We basically were just going on the onramp and my buddy was riding infront of me on his bike. We were already going pretty fast.. I think the civic took it too himself that were probably trying too "race" him, he drives off too far right side(not on a lane) just before the lane merges onto the 400 almost hitting my friends bike.
