Anyone know of a decent mechanic in Brampton/Mississauga that knows the RX8? I want to have one that I can go to from time to time for things that are RX8 related like having the clutch pedal reinforcement installed, or cleaning the MAF, etc.

 

Both are things you can do yourself.
Very very easy to do.

In the early days we use to have install meets where we all got together with tools and such to help each other out to install ... well stuff ... anything from Coil Overs to Cat Back exhaust ... u name it.

The Maf is super super super easy to do ... buy a can of brake cleaner or electrical cleaner .... spray maf ... let dry .. reinstall.

 

i cleaned my MAF sensor using a DYI found somewhere on this website.
i have zero knowledge of doing engine work but the MAF was EXTREMELY easy to clean

 

does anyone know how to reinforce the clutch pedal? what i need to buy ? how hard it is too do

im having clutch problems

and i know there is a recall, but it expired 18 days ago

Yeah I did the MAF myself but need some help with the clutch, anyone willing to do the job for me? I'll pay.

 

^How about you come to Kitchener and while you pickup the brakes I ordered for you I can install the clutch pedal kit.
