We had a few people back out on the BBM chatroom (myself included! 8 is stuck in the shop, and the Miata is just too ugly to be cruising in, least of all with a rainy day expected.)

So Mike said we're gonna cancel this one. I will put out a call for a *tentative* rain-check for next week or week after, but nothing concrete until I get an update on my wheels.

if tomorrow is a good day, im prolly still in, but if the weather is like today im out. We have alot of last minute cancelations from other members so I think we will hold it off till next sunday and hope for a better day. Sorry for the inconvienience. If that doesnt work then I guess we will have to do better next year in running the opening spring meet.

From the feel of the thread it seems everyone had decided not to go.

I was pleasantly surprised that you PM'd me as I was ready to go by myself.

Lets do this:

I will meet anyone that would still like to do the Forks of the Credit in Victoria (Hwy 10 and King St.) at the gas station on the North-West corner of the lights between 12:15 and 12:30pm.

IF ... IF I see at least one person post on this thread by 11:45am saying they will meet me there. It takes me roughly 25 minutes to get there from where I live.

We will depart from Victoria at 12:30 sharp to take the forks of the credit and meet Rick and Doug at my house between 1 and 1:30

We will stop in Tera Nova for a beverage of choice and carry-on from there.

I don't see any forcast of snow showing up for next weekeend. It's actually the opposite. It shows right now the weekend is going to be sunny and in the teens.

I think I'll wait it out till next weekend. It's already starting to get cloudy around my area. It'll probably start to spit rain in about 30min's or so.

I'm sure next weekend is going to work out far better.

Scott, Had a great time and loved the pub in Terra Nova. Did not get home till 7:00. We'll have to do it again, and now I have to wash my car again!
Neo, that was the forecast I saw for next Friday.... Flurries. It's change now, in my next life I'm coming back as a Meteorologist (Weather Man). The only job you can be wrong 90% of the time.

So some of you made it out anyway eh? Good on ya. I always take the view that I'll show up, even if nobody else makes it, just on the off chance that there is fun to be had. :P

Anyway, if the rest of us are up for a make-up cruise this weekend, then so be it! I'll try again myself, and if the weather's nice I'll take the Miata regardless of the brakes. XD (Footman: for the record, the 8 is just in for some routine checkups, wanted that clutch pedal looked at before winter hits, as well.)

So, hope to see some more faces this weekend!
