Car Audio Installation
Hi, I'm in Panama and I own a 2005 RX8. I want to replace the original stereo with a Sony XAV-601BT, but I have read so much about the Metra kit and the problems it has with the AC. Living in Central America, the AC is not a luxury is NECESARY!!!! Is it now safe to use the Metra Kit or is there any other kit? Does the Metra Kit allows me to keep the controls on the wheel???
Please HELP!!!!
Please HELP!!!!

But no they don't give trouble most of the issues can be cheap solder job on the product or improper install
But all the ones I have done have not given issues an you need a module to retain the steering wheel controls

Your best bet for the boxes is an ebay company called Zenclosures. I have one in mine and they're made to fit in the back compartment of the truck so you really don't lose any space. My system pounds with this box.
