Hey Everybody,

The Revscene meet is coming up. I know that all the different car teams will be there representing their rides!!

Are there any RX-8's going and do we want to represent a team? It could be fun we could all roll in together? It is April 9 from 12-4 in Vancouver I believe.

I think we need to get involved in events more and get our cars out there!! We need to make this club known!

Already thinking of going, I am more worried about booking time off for the Duffy Lake Drive at the end of the month, that is much more important to me, will definitely try to get this day off as well. I am sure Rohit and Eldon will try hard to be there for it as well.

Quick note - if you're posting an event notice, can you please include the location in the subject line? (I've edited this thread to include it). Because we get one forum section to cover a pretty huge area, event threads will only be of interest to the locals, and most of the forum members will be too far away to be attending.

Drat. I'm working... but then again, Revscene probably isn't my kind of scene anyhow...

 

i will be there representing the MPVs or the RX8s. what is it about anyway. i don't really know. i wasn't there last time.

its basically a large meet ..probably the largest one in BC or the lower mainland since revscene is pretty much the biggest forum in the LM and reaches member of all car clubs...hence all kinds of cars meet up from civics to porsches...i remember last year they took out a huge chunk of Spanish banks..

alot revscence is ignorant and most of them are 14yr olds without licences...but
i like seeing what vancouver has to offer ...some of the cars are pretty impressive... especially the FDs..love them!

I am in for it, I dont know where it is taking place though, if someone wants to post a Burnaby/Van pre meet location and time, that would be helpful. To be on the safe side we could meet at one of the car wash bays and ensure our babies shine as much as possible beforehand, I know my car needs a wash since I havent had time since getting back from vacation.
