Hi everyone, some of you who were at the track May 11th said youd like to have an RX7-8 lapping day. I need to rent Shannonville for some testing, if we go at night (5:30pm - dusk) it is quite reasonable. If we could get 12 or so people committed to a date, it would be about $60.00 each for either pro-track or fabi. If anyone is interested let me know, and what date would be good. I will help anyone who wants with set up and instruction as well. I odnt really want to go with some of the people who have rented it already as they have too many cars and too many rules, that makes it hard to test properly.

 

I'm in .... wouldn't mind getting some input from someone with a lot of experiance.

 

cool, well right now it would be $350.00 each (lol) hopefully more will respond and we can pic a day (night). It would be nice to keep it a small group not too many people

Any chance of getting the Long track?

 

the long track is 600/hour.......I tried to get something like this going a while ago and footman was the only one who responded. I think the protarck would be alright.....fabi does seem a little short but anything to get on the track

 

Long track is no good for us, all it does is wear out drivers (no power steering) and chew up tires. Pro track is best but for testing fabi will work too. This all depends on how much each person is willing to spend, as to how many we need to keep costs down. If we can all get together in the near future to discuss a day and amount each person wants to spend, I will call Linda at Shannonville and set it up. The only down side is once we commit I have to pay for the track rain or shine.

I am up for spending around $60 for a evening session on either Fabi or Pro.

I am good for any day from May 26 to June 6th.

 

60 is a little on the low side......the track days I go to range from 75 - 100 minimum......I am good with fabi or pro track rain or shine I will be there if we commit.

In previous yrs, night sessions were about $40-50 .... maybe inflation now?

Any Friday works for me. I'd suggest setting up prepay.

 

Heres what I am prepared to do. Once we pick a day, I will call and see if its available. Once we know its available, I will book it and Linda will hold that time for 48 hours for me. The people who commit will have to prepay up to $100.00 depepnding how many people commit. Once I have to deposits, I will refund any amount of money we collect over the cost of the track to each guy who prepaid. We will split it evenly.

im in pei from june 6th - 15th other than that im game and fine with a 100 pre pay

 

I'm interested but can only commit to Saturdays and Sundays due to work schedule.

However Saturday June 7th and Sunday the 8th I'm in Chicago with CRH and MM.

 

As long as it's a Sunday I should be OK. Saturdays are a little more iffy since I'd have to take a day off work... but I'm definitely interested!
