Prospectjtaz and WCS mini install meet, major beer consumption

Some pics from our little mini install meet during the long weekend.
Nothing better than beer and car stuff on the May 24!

Note: You're not going to learn anything here so don't bother looking at the pics if you're expecting to get something out of it. This is purely a social/casual thread. I should prolly put it in the lounge, but screw it.

Unpacking Mazdaspeed intake

haha....looks like a good time......you may want to turn the first section of the CAI so the one tube at the bottom of the 3 that return to the intake doesn't rest on the alternator.....nothing like 300F against a rubber hose....I dont know if its neccessary but I errored on the side of caution....also, just on my own ocd note....I like that you have all the hose clamp screws ligned up perfectly and going the same direction

Thanks Gecko,
I was never happy with that hose arrangement ask Jay, I whined about it all night.

I was reluctant to turn that section as it was my understanding that the MAF needs to be in a level upright position. If this is not that case then yes Jay should give it a bit of a turn.

Yeah I turned mine to the right just enough so the bottom return was off the alternator by about 1/4 - 1/2 an inch....I set up footmans ( andrews ) this way as well.....I personally have never had any issues, and i believe Andrew has been running well since we cleared his computer.

So now you guys are getting together without giving anyone a heads up, huh?!
It's alright, this weekend was jam packed. There was no way I could've gotten together even if I tried.

Good to hear everything went smooth. Despite all the "fuel"you guys consumed! lol

I can't wait for this coming weekend!

LoL, that mini meet was insane, I left Markham at 6 pm, got to Orangeville at 7 30 pm. We got things moving, intake was on by 12, ya, the fueling up was taking a lot of time, plus the jokes we were cracking, a new technique that WCS' Pop patented called the paper test for the Mspeed Strut bar, and nex tthing you know its 4 am, and things are finally getting wrapped up, I did leave by then, gave it a nice rev in the garage, just couldnt stop laughing with wcs, and then i gave it a redline in first gear onhis street as i left, LOL, why need a rooster to wake everyone up, when you got me in the area, lol.

Man, I am loving this thing, the car just sounds so mean, and you dont really hear it till you really step on the throttle, I LOVE THIS THING. Still looking forward to day three of the tranmission swap, to truly feel the difference. And the Strut bar is insane, its so much more firmer, I did a turn in the 20s around a right corner, the car jus plowed through. I really wanan step on the brakes and feel the master cylinder support, but gonna wait till tomorrow or later in the week, lets get these cops off the streets first.

Other than that, thank you wcs, great times, great meeting the padre, the fuel was great, felt like our mechanical intuition kept getting sharpened as we consumed more.

This is HOW WE DO MAY 24, BEER, PIZZA, and INSTALLS!!!
