Out of patient!
Hello guys,
I m still waiting for my RX 8 (ordered on April 12 04) in Toronto. THe manager contacted me on May 13 and give me the V/N #. He told me the car was waiting to get on the train in Vancover. Once he get the updated from Mazda the car will be here within 10 days. But still haven't heard his update news. Although my contract was gurannted that the car will be arrive in Toronto at the end of May but still a lot of patient. Wonder if you guys have experienced this b4?

too bad you didint live in vancouver cause the port is near the silver city i see rx8s in the parking lot all the time :D maybe one was yours! i can take it for a spin if you like

I ordered in March 03, it still wasn't available in the first shipment of RX-8s that arrived in late July 03. Your 6 week wait is nothing!! 
All of us who pre-ordered had to wait, some guys were waiting over 6 months.

That last post was mine but for some reason shows nightkids.
The biggest pain with waiting was having everyone ask me "did you get your car yet?" all last summer to which I always replied "No Goddammit, and it's pissing me off!"

Ordered mine early December, promised for April, just got it last week. Sorry but not much sympathy for your wait, that was a long 6 months. You'll love it when you finally get it though.

I ordered mine beginning of Mar-04 and it came in on May 5th (2 weeks later than expected because of a strike in BC at the docks....so they said).
If they miss your delivery date...bust their nuts. I did and got a loaner car (protoge but still theirs) as I sold my old one for when it was supposed to be delivered. I also got some accessories for free and others discounted.

I waited an agonizing 4 days while the original guy who preordered backed out. I took advantage of an opportunity. All the sales guys were pissed at the one I dealt with since they had folks waiting but hey, she did a great sales pitch and treated us right. No discounts but I got one of the few around at the time. July 03.
