Most of you read my post about our event coming up on Oct 10th. It should be as big as Mazdaspeed was last year! We now have DAI Alloy Wheels bringing there trailer with all of its goodies, Street Power Performance will be here with their rolling dyno etc. I hope the RX8's will be the biggest attraction as it has been in the past. I have made arrangements with some of our biggest suppliers to give us extra deep discounts on Hawk Brakes, Eibach etc for that day too! Same as last event and last years event $10.00 for Sick Kids per car, lots of give aways etc.

Also I mentioned at Mosport about Shannonvilles lapping day on October 11th any interest in that from anybody?

Here are the details Al forgot.

Woodbine Scion is having its launch party event which we have dubbed ScionSpeed!

The event takes place on Sunday October 10th 2010 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. That way if anyone has Thanksgiving plans for Sunday dinner they can still make it out.

All makes and models welcome! The entry fee is $10 per car with all proceeds going to Sick Kids Hospital. Spectators are free! Since we are a Scion dealer we would especially like to see Scions out so there will be reserved prime parking, provided you let me know an approximate number of cars attending. Just post in the thread so I can keep a track of count.

There will be great deals on parts for all makes and models including most major aftermarket brands! There will be other vendors on hand as well.

This will be one of your first chances to see all 3 2011 Canadian Specification Scion models, the xB, XD and tC. Test drives will be available as well!

They'll be a BBQ, prizes/giveaways and entertainment. Performances from Gina M (Aka Envyy) and Golden Chyle plus more to come.

Sorry i missed the truck on the dyno ....which won the hp race, the Tundra or the RX7?

I couldnt run the Tundra in 4th gear at 1:1 becauser it hit the 190kmh speed limiter lol. In 3rd gear it ran 281 HP and 364 Ftlbs Torque. The RX7 made 242HP and 185 Ft lbs which is 20 HP less and 40 Ftlbs more than last time we ran it?!

btw: The Tundra had 32 more rwhp than the Porsche Carrera that was here lol

AL, you should take the Tundra to our Fall Cruise... you can be support vehicle with gas tank, Castrol 5W20 oil, and various other goodies like cases of water and pop. LOL
