The Toronto Mazda 3 Club (www.torontomazda3.ca) would like to take this opportunity to invite you to join us at the 9th Annual Meeting of Mazdas. The inaugural event was hosted 9 years ago by the Miataphiles and has been hosted by several local Mazda enthusiast clubs in subsequent years. This year Toronto Mazda 3 will be running the MOM2011 event!

And without further ado, here is the 2011 MOM Announcement:

The MOM 2011 website (www.meetingofmazdas.ca) WILL BE UP SHORTLY! Details will be added as they become available, both to the official MOM 2011 website and to this thread. The website is will be available for everyone to register to indicate their intention to attend MOM 2011. For now we just wanted to get the word out about the date and location so that everyone can mark it in their calendars.

We would appreciate if one or more of the Officers / Admins on your board would take the lead for consolidating any questions which can be directed to us here @ TM3 via the forum (email will be up shortly), We will post up here with event updates!

You can count on lots of activities for this Family event, including Food, a Show n' Shine Competition with several categories (to be announced), Games, Prizes and Giveaways!

Food will be done like last year, and will be provided by Toronto Mazda 3, which will include BBQ and drinks - Burgers (Veggie and Meat), Hotdogs (Veggie and Meat), Condiments, Water and Pop.

This years event will have a $5 fee per car in addition to the park admission fee. This $5 entry fee will help cover the cost of running the event and a portion of the proceeds will be going to a Charity. With this entry fee all food and drinks will be provided for you and your family.

Yes sir! For those who are attending the Mazda Meeting at Mosport this weekend maybe the question should be posed as to why Mazda Canada doesnt do an event simular to SevenStock that Mazda USA does at the head office in Irvine Cal? Not that I would ever stir up some s__t lol

August 28 we will be at the FIA Time Attack Event at Mosport Grand Prix Track with the race car also with a passenger seat in it!

 

I guess recession is hitting people pretty hard... as of today, only 16 people have registered... sadness

The official site has only been open a few days and I believe if memory serves me right it's $6.50 to enter Bruces Mill Conservation Area plus another $5 for the meet. I think most people can afford $11.50 plus some gas even during a recession.

went last year and disappointed, not many cars there, besides, the place where we parked suck, so wont go this year.

 

The parking is all gravel, flinging rocks everywhere and dusty as hell

 

It's a conservation park. What did people expect?
This is why I always go with the Miata.
I took the FD the first year we attempted this. It was in another conservation area. It was the first, and the last time I did that.

im not going anymore because TASR 2011 is on the same day and its my car team so I have to support the show. I really wanted to come but i have to go to tasr which is at Mosport

Firstly, I started this thread before I knew about the date of TASR, and its still some use here notifying everyone. I would like to go to mom but I'm helping out at tasr and I get some free track time. I don't want this looking like I ditched. I've contributed and organized a few meets this season. So I'm trying my best here. This is the first time im backing out of an event, Usually when i say ill be there "I'll Be There" but unfortunatly this time ive had to back out. Atleast im saying Im not coming, and not saying anything.... Sorry but that comment upset me
