Arrow Oct 25th Shannonville Full Track lapping event! Touge.ca, 2009 17th lapping event!

2009 17th Touge Motorsports lapping event @ Shannonville Full Track – Oct 25th, 1:30 – 5:00 pm, Sunday afternoon

Hello all drivers,

We have the track Sunday afternoon from 1:30 – 5:00 pm booked, cost will be $79 of prepaid.

Full Track Map

We will have a short briefing prior to getting out on the track, followed by a few warm up laps, then lapping for the rest of the day. "Lapping" refers to just that, doing laps. Passing is STRICTLY prohibited except on the back straight, and only when the person in front of you has allowed you by signaling you to pass. We reserve all rights to kick people off the track that are driving dangerously and/or aren't listening to track marshalls.

For those that have never been to the track, we encourage you to try it out, even if you're still on stock/all season tires (they'll suck, and burn up quick, but it's still fun)
plus..

All those interested in attending this track day on Oct 25th

Kindly Email info@Touge.ca with your info below:

- FULL name
- Your car make, model, year, color
- Contact phone# and Email address
- Novice/Experienced.

Helmets are strongly recommended for safety reasons, you will have to sign a disclaimer at the track, for those who do not wear helmet and not following our lapping rules, the participants take full responsibility for their action. (if you have helmets, it won't hurt to bring them up).

All those interested please sign up or email Kevin asap.

Prepaid: $79
After Oct 18th or At the track: $110

Pls signup for prepaid to reserve your spot asap and we don't accept anymore participants when all spots are filled.

Please contact Kevin@ 416-5649999 if you would like to pay the track fee in person in GTA or Money order or Personal Cheque. Whoever wants to pay the track fee by EMT- Email Transfer with online banking OR Paypal

Kplayground is doing long track 1-5 for $75

Weather permitting I'll try to make it to at least one of the two.

After going to DDT with Touge and having so much fun I'm thinking of coming to this one too, and bringing my R1s if it's dry *crosses fingers*...ran on DDT without the R1s today as i thought it would rain, and my tires have absolutely no grip! but it was fun regardless

TheWulf:

My brother's interested in the kplayground track event at shannonville this sunday (18th), since he can't make the one on the following sunday, so is that track event open to anyone interested?

and yes...DDT is extremely hard on the car, especially the left front tire (if you're going CW).

i'v talked to someone about doing just that and said it may be a possibility if enough people want it to happen. but also said most people seem to want to run long than pro since its "longer"

prob not iv decided not to put them on my rims this season. i still have the shaved ra1's which wont be quite as sticky as r1's but being 275vs245 should still be fun to chase each other around.

im still working every moment i can trying to get money for this event.
