I think when Helas mentioned "accommodate for the west end guys", I think he meant like Brampton, Mississauga, Oakville, Milton, Burlington, etc. So more of the west end guys could make it from out west that can't make your east end meets or the D&B's meets.
Am I right Helas????

 

SaugaBoy, Good to see your back on line. We all missed ya. Ya your right about the location. We all sub-conciously forget about the members who are WAY out to the west (ie, The Mic and many others) I think the Mississauga area is a good place to hold this week's meet. Sauga, Sham, do you guys have any good spots to meet for a beer or even a bite to eat? I also think that Friday might accomodate more of these far comers. Lets start the talks and makesome plans.

There is a Tim Hortons very close to where Dundas and 403 meet (Mississauga). On most Friday nights, there are a number of partially pimped Japanese and SRT-4's etc cars that meet there. That may be a decent spot to show up with 10 RX8's for starters and then go to one of many popular restaurants, Cinemas etc all within 500 yards from there (Montana's, AMC, Outback, California's Sandwiches, Bowling, Mandarin's, Pool Hall etc....).

Not sure how many of these other cars/car enthusiasts will be there on a Friday @ 8PM, but there should be a few for sure.

Just a suggestion.

 

I won't be around that night. Hopefully I will be becoming a CA that night.

You know I'm kidding about the Xbox. I heard this morning on the news that they were selling for upto US$1,500 each. I couldn't beleive how many suckers out there would pay just about any price to have one of the first ones. Oh well, to each their own. I'll wait till they go for 199 and then maybe, just maybe if the kids did well in schoool, then I might splurge for one.

I think I'm bowing out of this one... I tested the roads last night and it took me 10-20min's longer to get somewhere... and that's in my area...

With the snow scheduled for later today, I doubt I'll make it to this meet...

Just this morning some ******* wanted to hog all the lanes so I couldn't get through... so I honked and told him to move over to the far right... ******* started to tail gate me when I passed him... as I was pulling into work he pulled up beside me and gave me the finger! WTF?!?!


Stupid people!!

Now imagine, that's in my area... I can't imagine the type of morons I'll run into on my way to Mississauga!!
