Just curious if there are any RX-8 Owners in the Northern region of Ontario (Near Timmins or Cochrane).. Just bought an 09 RX8 R3 in Sept and love it.. Currently stored away for the winter but looking to pull it out early spring. Was hoping there would be a couple of hidden people around here lol..

Yea the "popos" are quite strict around here lol. Its a rookie trainin center so thats quite self explanatory. (No offence to anyone here if there are any on the forums) lol..

Would be nice to meet up with a couple 8s sometime to do some cruising in the summer.

 

That explains why I got a ticket for doing 105 kph on the TransCanada highway that runs through Cochrane (speed limit 90)

just curious what mazda dealer you bought the car from? how were they to deal with im looking at picking up an rx8 sometime soon and Im from north bay but travel to timmins and cochrane all the time.

 

I actually bought my car from the NorthBay Mazda dealership on Lakeshore Drive. The Timmins dealership were not well informed about the RX-8 sadly and the salesman in Northbay actually had an RX-8 himself so he was very well informed haha.

The salesman I dealt with was Drew. Dealing with him went very well and was very pleased with the service..

i was checking out your car at the tint shop in timmins. looks sweet dude. theres 3 or 4 other rx8 in timmins including mine. there all stored also.

i know what you mean about the dealer here in timmins. i was looking at getting an r3 in black but was turned off by how hard he was pushing for the sale and from what ive heard he doesnt have that great a rep around here.

 

Don't folks there drive pickups in the summer and ride dog sleds in the winter?
