Talking Nitrous install in Calgary/E-town

Can anyone recommend a shop that would do a nitrous install...either in Calgary or Edmonton? So far the only one I have heard of is Davenport Racing in Calgary...

Thankx

Charles R Hill did mine.
Awesome job, real clean install!
Works great.

The new legislation in Ontario states that you cannot have your nitrous bottle hooked up while driving on the roads.

well the original bill suggested the ban of NOS...but I just read up on it and they ammended it before it passed and there is no ban (from my understanding - don't quote me hhaha)

You can check out the install at this post

Thanks for the info on CRH I'll send him some stuff next week when I finally get some vacation time.

Life has gotten in my way lately and I've not been able to spend anytime with my car or on this website.

I'll give you an update. Background: Before I even installed the Zex kit I stongly suspected that I required new coils and new plugs. I would often get P302 CEL at high rpm (engine misfire)

1) To date I've only gone through 1 1/2 tanks of N2O

2) On the 1st tank the car ran strong, no problems at all with a 55 shot. Only engaged N2O after 5000rpm

3) Changed plugs and coils after the first tank. I believe the coils where okay after I looked at the plugs however I had already bought the coils so they got changed as well. The plugs were in bad shape. (not because of the N2O)

4) On the 2nd bottle I've also installed a bottle heater to keep the pressure at 950psi. Car is running better than it ever has. (even without the nos)

5) I'm going to install the 75 shot over my vacation to see how it runs. I'm going to add octane boost to the 94 octane fuel I fill up with, as a precaution.

6) I'll be taking it to the MOTM August 11th at Cayuga Speedway for a 1/4 mile run

So far no regrets, would recommend it to anyone with some sensibility and mechanical knowledge.
I only wish I lived closer to CRH. I would love to go for a cruise.

Ray, did you hear about the guy who blew up his UIM and hood on the dyno running a 75 shot? It's in the Mazmart forum vendor section at the top of the forum. I don't know any details but you might want to

Okay then 75 shot is a no go. You scared me out of it. The saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it" seems to ring hard here. My car is running great I would love to push it but not at the expense of breaking ****. However it's hard not to think that there's more that I'm not utilizing. mmmmph... We did discuss the 65 shot during the installation and I'll obviously try that before a 75.

Now about the octane boost (additive) again another topic we both discussed during the installation, however would you not at least agree that perhaps it's a good precaution when increasing the N2O shot? That was all I was saying. Or are you of the opinion that it is absolutely useless? <honest question>

Look for a PM soon ... ... sorry I've been a hermit lately .... you know life has a way of keeping you busy

Right so I've totally hijacked this thread
In closing I would just like to say that one of the best experiences I've ever had was hanging with CRH for the weekend and not only being treated like a close friend but being schooled in the fashion

<end hijack>
