Hey guys i'm usually on the rx7 forum but i think one rotary powered car is as good as the next and i'd like to introduce myself i'm up for meets my name is Andre and I own a FD RX7 with a single turbo conversion TD-06 25G here's a pic of my car i know it isn't great i have a crappy camera phone but i'll get more up sooner or later.

Don't mind the RX-8 guys. They don't get along too well with RX-7 people...

I'm from Toronto, Ontario in the GTA area thanks for the compliments i never understood the rx8/rx7 sibling rivalry

 

^ I think it comes from the last gen RX7 owners who were looking for an improved version of their car and instead got a 4 door NA replacement - so it's kinda understandable. The 8 is a better car, but it's not an evolved RX-7 that many expected. That said, it's still an awesome rotary so I don't understand the attitude of some 7 owners.

i got a buddy with a white FD, half-bridge ported with a t56 with '99 spec conversion and I love that fd to death. he built it from the ground up, i helped a bit

he doesn't like the rx8 after helping me install my parts though, but that's understandable. other than that, some fd's are so cocky. not directing to you, but guys i've met.

While it is true alot of FD owners think they're the next Michael Schumacher, Ive seen very few RX-8's return a friendly sign.
Majority of RX-8's in my neighborhood are driven by women. So I don't bother with them. The guys have no idea why an FD owner would be giving them a sign.

Oh well.

You'll find all sorts of different people with these cars. Hopefully I'll get a few more friendly signs when I give them a sign.

 

every RX-8 and FD I see I flash my lights at, some give me a wave, and the rest think I'm warning them about a cop or something, hehe

Or the silver haired women barely driving the speed limit.
