I recently purchased my RX-8 two weeks ago and i have some questions, I was told that the GT model has 257 hsp, is this true? I can only find 233 or something like that on it.... can someone let me know?

also, what can i do without adding a turbo to increase hsp? one more question, since the fuel economy on this car isn't like a honda accord (previous car) i purchased this vortex generator that hooks up to the air intake, yet to have it arrive, was this a worthelss buy ? it says that it creates a vortex and increases fuel economy... up to 30.% what do you guys think?

I was a little diapointed that i didn't have the navigation unit installed, can i get one? and from were? how will it fit in? does major mods have to be done to the dash ?

well i guess that's it, can someone answer my questions?

That is not true. 233HP (234?) is the standard advertised power output.

There really is nothing you can do short or force induction (turbo) to significantly increase HP. You'll only get a couple here and there with intake/exhaust/flywheel.

Yes, the vortex is worthless. It will just create a restriction in your intake and if it ever breaks it will get sucked into your engine.

The stock navigation isn't all that good and is overpriced. You'd be better off with a handheld GPS unit like a Garmin or TomTom.
