Sorry for the thread resurrection, however my 2008 is in the dealer for the 48,000 km servicing and they said the front rotors, pads and shims to be replaced and they quoted around $750 for this. While this thread is a bit old it does have some good info, just curious if there are any current good deals on rotors and pads these days?

I'm happy with the OEM parts but if there are comparable parts available at a better price I'm happy to make a change. Any suggestions?

I've also been searching for pads and rotors, but I haven't crossed anything special. I've tried sourcing from online (i.e reputable ebay (re)sellers), but with shipping i found isn't worth it most of the time.

 

I ended up going with Centric Premium rotors and Hawk HPS brake pads for my front brakes from Ivan iGarage. Price was basically half what the dealer wanted for OEM brakes and I have been satisfied with them so far.

 

Well, check out ROTORPROS - Performance Brakes - Brake Pads, Brake Rotors and Brake Kits. I have read a lot of good things about them on this forum in terms of service and pricing so i contacted them and will be ordering the following tomorrow including shipping 500'ish. Search this site for rotorpros and judge for yourself. I believe the rotors i ordered are made by Centric which i have also heard a lot of good things about.

So...anyone ordered the centric rotors recently? I thought the website said ""Centric Parts does not sell directly to consumers.""
