I don't see snow on the ground. You should be ripping it with the little time you have left.

Very nice! It's just like my '09. But I'm not putting it away for the winter, I am putting on Blizzaks for its third winter of fun!

Whoops, didn't notice this is the Canadian section. I won't get snow like you guys up North and I have a Forester if it gets really bad.

Nice ride man. I have a 2010 R3 and love it...puts a smile on my face every weekend.

Don't store it yet!!! We probably have 5 or 6 weekends before the snow starts to stick to the ground. I stored mine in mid-December last year and then ended up pulling it out of the garage 8 or 9 times between then and March as we had a nice dry winter. If you're lucky, you can pickup some good high-perf winter tires from Tire Rack on clearance. I got 19 inch Blizzaks mounted on rims for under $1000 last October.

The one thing that I recommend is joining the BMW Club and taking their Advanced Driving course at Mosport in the spring. It's the best $500 you'll spend (2 full days of 1-on-1 instruction on an epic race track). It will give you a good sense of what the car can do.

^ For winter tires Kijiji is your friend. A few years ago I paid $220 for X-Ices with a couple of thousand KMs tops, the little knubby pieces were still fresh on the tires.
