I thought it might be Mazdee's car. I've heard they've been working on an FD race car.
Great to see it on the track!

I need to scrape together more cash!!

I need to get myself more cash too!!! 2 more events to go with KENSAI and I think I might even need new RA1s and rear rotors!!

Just thinking about this one.

During the course of a beautiful day at Mosport I was able to put in around 250km or so on track.

For the same day at a SOLO II autocross event, what would you hope to drive?
4-5 runs at less than 1km each?

250km, or 5km? Let me think......

I'll add that Mosport is much nicer than your average GO station parking lot, or the Hershey Centre Parking lot.

May be it's just me, but I really don't get it.

Autocross is definitely a blast, but with what I have been hearing about the number of runs you get, it hardly seems worth it.

I guess an analogy would be a sprint race vs. marathon.
For value - I just see more value in a marathon event.
I'm sure I could learn a lot with a solo II course given the chance to run it a few dozen times.

Well, everyone has their owne preference. I've never tried any of the SOLO course, I'm sure it also takes a lota skills to be a good SOLO driver, and it is also safer I think, unless someone forgets to tight their wheel nuts like the FD video a few weeks back!! lol

Ya autox is cheaper, less stressful on your car, and safer. Overcook a corner and you aren't going into a wall.

I find it boring though.

any type of auto racing requires different skill levels, I don't think any one is better than the other, just personal preferrences. Unless you are driving for a F1 team, and taking Pole almost every races in ur first year like Lewis Hamilton, nothing is better than the other!
