Those corral parade laps are super super lame. We're talking about 40km/h in a single file.

Ummm, I wouldn't call the Mazda a parade lap. You want to see a parade lap you should attend a Ferrari meet at lunch hour! Those guys never get out of 2nd gear, all single file, making sure no one breaks any rules.

At least when we had a "parade" lap we had to use our brakes for some of the corners! So I wouldn't exactly call it a parade lap.

I would love to make it for ALMS. Not too sure what's happening that weekend, so pencil me in for now. Haven't been to one in a long time.

Yep, those laps and the year before when we had fewer cars.

It's unfortunate we had to go through the pit area during your parade lap. But it was at a good clip and everyone had fun.

Unlike some of the other Parade laps I've seen and participated in. Those were truly Parade laps! Put me to sleep! lol

It'd still be fun, waving to the crowd and all that...

Anyways, if there is an informal meet in the works, count me in. I'd like to meet some of y'all...and your cars.

No no, I was talking about the ALMS parade laps, which are always the low-speed single file affair. The rotary lapping day, hell I was doing almost 200 km/h at the end of the back straight away from the pack.
