Montreal Anual Rotary Meet September 30th -Ottawa guys ?
Hello Im just passing on information.
Would be awesome to see more guys come also .
We will meet infront of the Montanas in southkeys in the morning leave at 9:15 and then head down to Montreal.
--------------------------------------
To all concerned,
Sorry for posting this so late, but our annual club meeting for the Rx Club of Quebec will be held on September 30th, 2006 @ 12PM.
We had planned a BBQ with hotdogs and corn.
I am gonna translate the post made on our forum to my best!
"There will be fees of 15$ associated with the meet, which will go towards funding the event and the remainder will be put to the treasury of the club.
The plan is to have a BBQ with hot dogs and corn on the cobb, followed by gokarting. Fees for Karting will be 47.60 for a 30 minute session. That is to say 5 minutes of qualification, 5 minutes of warmups and a good 20 minutes of RACING! The Kart event will take place @ Karting St-Alphonse, I personally visited the track and can tell you that the karts are all very clean 9hp hondas and the track is freshly paved and beautiful.
For those interested in the Karting please leave your names on the list bellow, also we will be accepting donations to the club treasury during the BBQ. We were thinking you leave 0.25$ in a pot when taking a hotdog sort of thing.....
FOR THOSE NOT INTERESTED IN KARTING AND THOSE WHO FIND IT EXPENSIVE
#1 Money doesn't grow on trees
#2 The same members always seem to be paying for the others
#3 If you don't wanna come karting no problem, But come to the MEET!
The address will be:
2710 chemin des Patriotes
Richelieu, Qc
J3L 6M9
Directions can be had through www.mapquest.com
Also if you wish to add your names to the Karting list you may post in this thread>>> http://www.clubrxquebec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1978
Just put your real names and rx7club screen names.
Thanks again, and hope to see some of you,
Alex

I've never been to a meet before and will consider going if the weather is nice. Any RX8 owners going? How many and anyone from Montreal? It seems like I'm the only Montrealer from my viewing of the Canadian forum but that is obviously not true.

Damn..it looks like Saturday is the only day on the weekend I can do some work outside like putting a roof on my cabana. But I also want to drop in even if only for an hour so I guess no cabana. BTW, has anyone started a thread to track all the 8s in Canada by city or province? If not we should start one as I'd like to know who's in my town.
