I have been thinking about this for a while and thought i would put it out to everyone and see .
Anyone here interested in setting up a monthly set of meets with date and locations TBA once i can formulate a general consensus.

Right now i am thinking of a west ,east and central set of meets following the same schedule every month with multiple adult car clubs , meaning little if any entry level g1 g2 drivers to keep a mature level of individuals interested.

If you are and have a reoccurring time of day and day in mind post up and i'll see what the majority thinks.

Last year it was every last Saturday of the month at Kennedy Commons kennedy/401 and every 2nd Wednesday at Krispey Kreme in Mississauga.

Both those locations have ample space and no harassment from anyone.

 

This could be interesting....

 

I hope so , the best part is it would have a schedule set up permanently so everyone will get used to when to meet up without forgetting.

 

when i first joined i look everywhere for that sort of sticky cuz most car clubs have that...

kennedy commons is a good one....and the west end kripsy cream is also popular.....

hope we really get something going here.

 

No ,problem , it will be happening in the next month or so , it all depends on the interest from the other clubs who participates.
Biggest thing is with so many clubs but not everyone wanting to come out on specified dates it usually will have fewer people if any who show up because they don;t want to be the only one in a parking lot. This idea trumps that problem as there will always be a couple of enthusiasts around.

toyota matrix and toyotanations are at kennedy commons every last saturday of the monthh.....!!

There are a few areas i would like to use but that is why i am putting it out there to see what others have for ideas.
Underground spots are hard to come by if the facilities are not used.

 

I am just using it as 2 of the starting points. IN march there will be 2 meets for those interested for gauging opening interest. So the first is Wednesday March 14th (the second Wednesday of the month) and the next is the Saturday March 31st (last Saturday of the month) . Both will be held at 8pm both days.
The next month of April will be determined with locations to be announced to be fair to everyone and give those who always wanted to make it out a good chance to.

 

3 more beautiful nights until the meet. Tuesday is going to be 14 degrees and Wednesday is 10 . Hopefully all this snow will have melted by then and i can have a clean car again.
BTW i work until 9 so i will be there just after 9 ,don't think i didn't show up to my own meet. LOL

I work late also but the meets continue until 10:30 -11 on weekdays.

The miata club I'm in has a meet every wednesday so we're meeting here. I doubt you'll actually get the pleasure of seeing any miatae because most are winter stored.

 

I'm going to try to make it... but the weather doesn't look like it'll play in our favour...

The weather was awful, I was exhausted from work, so I decided not to go.
I think the 31st meet would be a safer bet...

 

I was there too with about 10 other people from the miata club. We retired to Appleby's next door and were asked to leave at 11pm. The KK parking lot was full of Toyota Matrix'. Those guys know how to meet!

 

I'm sure the 31st meet will have a better turnout.
