I am 01 Racing from the RX7 club. We have arranged a day at Mosport like we did last year on the Sunday of the 1st race weekend of the year. We have confirmed everything with BEMC the organizing club. The only thing I am waiting for is the lunch time lapping behind the pace car. Confirmation should come next week. Please check the RX7club.com site for more details and a sign up sheet. Passengers will be welcome you will need to be at the track no later then 10:45am on Sunday to sign up. Tickets will be available shortly and there is no cost to you other than participating!

Got unoffical word that the lapping at lunch is a go. Should be a great day for everyone and the event goes rain or shine. If everything goes as planned it will be our 1st race of the season that weekend, and I am trying to arrange pit parking for everyone too meet.

You are more than welcome! Its fun organizing this event and looks pretty cool when you have 30 or so Mazda's lapping around the track behind a Mazda pace car! Its a good excuse to go up to the track, check out some regional racing (sometimes the best show and some of the fastest production style cars on the track) and celebrate the 40th anniversary of our beloved Rotary engine! It should be our 1st race of the season that day, and since we havent been able to test this year it will either be really good or.......................

Turns out Im told the free ticket link isnt working yet. We do have tickets here at the dealership if anyone wants to drop by 2124 Lawrence Ave E Scarborough. Tickets are at reception, if you ask for Alan I will be happy to tour through our mini race shop. If you get to the track before 10:00am on May 11th tickets will be available at the registration center on your way in.

I'm in for the 401 route or to meet up with others somewhere before moving on to Mosport. I offered a track ride to the wife for Mothers day, she negotiated for a dinner so I'll bring one of my boy's.

Okay here is the deal for Sunday. When you are driving towards the gate to get in, stop at the registration center. They will be open until 10:45am. When you get there they will get you to sign the waiver, give you your wrist band etc so you can get into and on the track at lunch time. We will have an area to the inside of turn 1 where everyone can park and meet etc. Because of race scheduling I will only be able to run one series that day at I think we will run G70 with the vintage guys so we can use it for a test day. I will be the last race before the lunch break. When I get back from that race I will jump into my Speed 6 and the we should be able to go out and do our pace laps. If you have any questions call me at 416-752-0970 or email me at abalinsky@scarboro.mazda.ca

Did she say, 'go ahead'? You're screwed man!

I guess I'll have to attend to see your last day of freedom.
