What happened to Rotary RX8? I knew he left his HIDs on with his engine off. Did he run out of batteries? LOL

I think that's Mukii's RX-8 (Special Cherry red color or something) Still have his summer tires and rims....

Footman, you left too early, don't even have a chance to snap a pic of your nicely clean RX-8.

 

Yeah, mine was dry and wiped down too. With wax protection, water and microfibre are all you need to wash your car. Surprise Surprise!!!

 

Naww that was mukii lol !! I turned off my headlights while I was washing btw footman how the hell did you dry without allowing the water turn to ice !! Also what spray were you using ?!?

I wash my 8 every Friday alone, now some people joining me, that's good......

 

I just join for fun. Truth is, I have the Petro Canada wash pass. Started using it on Jan 1. So I wash my car almost every other day with railless/touchless at Red Maple/7 right outside my place!

Yeah, alot of ppl choose to buy the $169 + tax Petro car wash pass eh.... I was planning to get one too, but turn out I stick with the self wash....

 

By the way, maitre, did you find out where is the indoor self wash place? You mentioned its near Woodbine / HW7? Anyone heard or been there before? What's the rate? Any info?

 

Well this might be a bit of a stretch, but here's my alternative: the indoor wash from the Shell station near Hwy 7 on Kennedy. (Sorry, not Woodbine like I thought, but hey this is the MARKHAM thread, right?!)

I'm not sure if they have more than one bay, and you pay something like $0.50/min, but on the plus side, it's warm in there! I haven't done any recon yet, but if nobody is game, I'll go check it out myself at some point.

There is an indoor self wash place at Steeles/Yonge on NORTH EAST corner. It is expensive. I don't remember the price, but I feel it's not worth it.

 

Can someone PM a brother when there is another meet. I always check too late Still have never made it out to one of these meets. Wanna get to meet some new people. Not enough 8's show up at the rotary spring and fall meets lol

 

You should definitely come out next time. I wanna see your 8 in person !!

My car is sleeping right now, when it comes out I gotta do etest, get my sticker, do my brakes(need badly) and put my rims back on cause I have the car sitting on the oem 18s while i store it cause i dont care bout flat spotting those tires.

 

Shut up. At least you've driven it around the garage a couple of times. I haven't even sat in mine since Nov.

Install meet at my place when it gets warmer? My coilovers came in so I'll be once again tearing up my suspension. Anyone who wants to watch/help is welcome. You get to watch me attempt to put my car sideways in a pillared 2 car garage with a 90-pt turn.
