M-flash in canada?

Is anybody getting the M-flash done in Canada? I contacted the service department of my dealer today, I was told that he never heard of the M-flash and that he never received a service bulletin on the M- flash. Does anyone know if there is a service bulletin for the M-flash in Canada or is my dealer just giving me the run around?

Plato, Canadian dealers Have been notified on M flash. I was with the tech when he tried to reflash my car. The WDS said it had the H csalibration (its an early car-1313) and that it should be upgraded to M. HOWEVER, the dealer gets weekly WDS info (tells him what upgrades are current) but only gets the CD with new coding at longer intervals. So, although Canadian dealers know about M they cant upgrade until they receive the CDs from Mazda Canada. The owner of the dealership is trying to find out when the new flash will be availaqble. I will pass on any info I get.

Thanks for the reply Seenitall. I`ll wait and hopefully the dealer will call me when he gets the CD. I`ll also wait to get some more info from you when you get it.
Thanks again

Plato, just talked with my dealer. He called Mazad tech support, put his tech on the line and they downloaded info off the internet. Result: MYCAR HAS BEEN REFLASHED TO M . Am going to pick it up will post further. Canadaian cars can get M flash NOW.

Regards, Seenitall

Hitman, its not luck-honey attracts more flies than beer (Unless you are Canadian)!! Seriosly, its there if you can use your ability to motivate. Remind your dealer that he should point out to Mazda Canada that its a LOT cheaper to do the flash than to tow your car and get it rtunning again.
