Koni Yellow Question

Hey Guys,

I am interested in putting a set of Koni Yellows (single adjustable) on my car, and was quoted at $535 for the fronts, and $482 for the rears (all $CDN). I have never purchased a set of performance oriented shocks, so my question is: does this price seem fair?

This is not including installation since I have access to a hoist and all the correct tools to do it myself.

Thanks,
Steve

IIRC al mentioned the bilstein HD shocks at the mod meeting. these were my first choice, but i could get the tokico Dspecs a bit cheaper and the ship date on the Bilsteins was kind of iffy. marc, i priced the bilsteins out on tirerack.com and they seemed like a decent price even after shipping and exchange and all that.

Lol, like I said at the meeting it all depends on what your using your car for. The Koni is a fantastic shock, the factory Bilstein logically makes sense if your keeping stock sway bars etc as it is valved to your existing suspension. The Koni adjustable will take some time at an autocross or race track to get the right set up, initially it will probably be worse until you get the settings figured out.

keep shopping, thats a horrible price.

You just missed a yearly Koni sale in Montreal, but I think he still has great prices year round.

Check with this guy:

Seriously, go for the Bilstein HD instead. It's a better choice for most people.
