I was at Avante Mazda today (Richmond Hill) and they had a 2009 VR in the wash bay. The front end looks a little bit better in person than all the pics I've seen on the web. The seats were completely red instead of two-tone and I wasn't impressed with the look.

The only other thing that was wrong was that it was automatic.

I got to test drive a Speed 3 as well and it was impressive. Due to all the traffic late afternoon I didn't get to really open it up but it was nice having some torque for once

 

lol, i saw it too when i was at the dealership last friday. it looks kinda cool but i think our 8s are not discontinued. Its just one of the models of rx8 in Canada.
