hey, just passed 1000KM in my RX-8. I just bought it 2 weeks ago! Im loving this car! when i was 14 my dad bought a 1995 TT FD, best car ever! Now i have my own rotary! What a sweet car!

 

Only 2000 miles to go before you need a new engine...enjoy it while it lasts.

nah, everyone has problems with every car!

The 2 most important things i learned from the FD were:

1) Treat it nice, and make sure you take good care.

2) at 100,000Km, anything can happen.

all other problems I read on this site hardly worry me. Every rotary is hand built, Thats the beauty of them!

 

Pete, im in the toronto area, Velocity Red 6spd GT with wing. where are you located?

 

I hope all goes well for you....I really do. I love the car and by no means did I thrash on my RX. But if you start hearing a rattle in you engine, don't just asume its bad gas. A engine shouldn't die @ 3100 miles.
