Install Meet Part 2 was still going on until 6:45 AM this morning when I left. We got fluids done for thunder and thumper, got plugs done for thunder, plugs and plug wires done for moi, and got the fogs, brackets, and mesh done for my bumper. We didn't get a chance to install my oil cooler ducts or do fluids for myself.
When I left, rotarygreg and thunder were going to start work on thunder's brake pad shims.

Ya great meet!! I just woke up after getting home at 5:30am lol. Lots got done and ready for the track. Thx to Greg again for his assistance with pretty well EVERYTHING, thx Greg for helping with my fluids and thunder for hosting and providing food.
I will post some pics as soon as I get them uploaded.

ha, i just woke up now. got home at 8ish. had to play with the neice and nephew for a bit and here my parents talk about how worried they were even though i told them i would be very very late...im sure im not ever having kids. they make it sound so aweful. lol.
anyways, had a blast at the install meet as usual, but im gonna be honest here. next person to get an MS bumper....no fog lights. end of story. lol.
Nate, i never heard from you, should I assume all is well and you are touring ohio right now, breaking speeding laws left right and center?
oh, and i didnt see the HT again. lol
and al, thanks again for coming out and imparting some of your wisdom and experience onto us for the track day next weekend.

Holy Crap!! You guys didn't leave till 6:45am?!?!
The RX8 club has become the new hardcore group!!!
This is the way it was with the RX-7 guys back in the day. Nowadays...
Greg,
You're the Apprentice!!! Let me know what you find out tomorrow regarding the cooling hose for the tranny.
Thunder,
Thanks for providing the space to do my oil change. Also, thanks for the burgers! Truly a great host!
Thumper,
Imagine doing that to 4-5 other fog light structures!! My hand is still hurting if I bend it in certain angles. lol
Pros,
Sorry I missed the bumper install. I had to run and meet a few other people for dinner.
Oh, by the way, I found the parking lights for the 6. Rest assure, if the roof wasn't down when I parked at Thunders place, I wouldn't have found them. They were really wedged between the seat and the tranny tunnel.
Don't even get me started on the install!! Talk about painful. After 45min's of constant swearing, the lights are in, and the car is starting to be complete. All I need now is to pick up the HID kit this coming weekend for the foglights, and the car is complete.
I gave more thought regarding the lights for the trunk on the Miata and the 6, and I think this will be the last mod I'll perform on both vehicles.
I can't wait to get the springs for the vehicle! I'm counting down the days.
When's the next meet??
P.S. I can't believe you guys stayed till 6:45am!!! Freakin crazy!
