how much would i have ot pay for insurance?

im gonna be 20, almost 21 and JUST got my g2.
want to be self insured with a brand new rx8 or maybe a used 2006 in markham ontario thanks

Depends on your history. Best bet is to get a broker, in my experience. You can always get a rough idea by going through several companies' online quote systems.

Go on kanetix.ca and get some quotes. Also talk to a broker and get quotes from them...

It might cost you a lot. I'm guessing around 3500-4000k a year? I have my g for over 5 years and clean record. I'm 21 with driving school and 3 other cars in the house and my insurance is $2600 a year.

Colour doesnt matter. And credit score can't be used to determine your rate.

IF you have to ask you can't afford it, but far be it for me not to encourage you to pick up the phone and call a couple of insurance brokers. It really is quite simple look up insurance under the yellow pages and pick a couple of different brokerages dial and ask for quotes. Simple and easy, I don't know why you need to post at an internet forum to figure this out.

BTW to self insure means you don't use an insurance company it means you cover (or pay) the cost of claims (accidents/damage) yourself.
