There is a way to check the tension on the belts. You need to have a force meter. and no, this is not the meter that measures whether you have powers like Darth Vader or Yoda
And then, in the manual, it describes how to adjust the tension on your belts...
Man, people need to read in DETAIL!!!!

Check the Battery light. I'm really doing 100km which is the speed limit. My Speedometer is broken...
Watch and you will see the light comes on. I have no idea how the dealers couldn't get it to come on when it always does for me...

First off, that's pretty risky to be driving around while "filming" the battery light go on. lol
2nd, I can't stand that song!!!! So many songs that are over played. This one being one of them.
How loud was that annoying song on? It only took 1min to reproduce the light... kinda odd... I'm sure Footman and I will be able to solve the problem.

Ok So Neo I'm playing that song just for you while we work & I can drive with one hand. Don't you?
Footman are we still up for today? Are you afraid to give me your number?? What if I stall on the hwy and can't make it? Do u not trust me...
Do you want me to get the belt?

Yeah 6 pm. The location info is all posted in an earlier post. Same location.
If you get the alternator belt, I don't know how to install one unless NEO knows how. You might want to bring a can of belt-dressing that you can buy from Canadian Tire.
Again, bring a set of booster cables. we're using them as extension cords.

Oh yeah, I hope you're able to duplicate that problem at a lower speed, because good luck trying to get to 138 km/h anywhere around GTA at 6pm on a Monday.
Friday evening, June 25, 6pm
GO Langstaff station PARKING LOT located at Red Maple Dr. and Hwy 7. There is a convenient Tim Hortons located right there...
Tools I will be bringing:
1) screw driver set
2) hex set
3) set of pliers
4) digital multimeter
5) Scanguage II
We will be driving around with your hood semi-closed so that the wires could be brought back through the passenger side window.
Leesha, you will need to bring:
1) Booster cables (using them as extension cords for the meter leads)
We will be monitoring the voltage 2 ways:
A) Scanguage II plugged into OBD-II port showing Voltage. I will require NEO to sit in the back and monitor that one.
B) Hardwire voltage check on digital multimeter connected at various points:
i) On battery terminals
ii) On generator output terminals
As you drive, as soon as the light comes on, we should be able to get some results and conclusions based on what the Scangauge and the digital multimeter (DMM) says.
If this is a vibration issue, then perhaps it could also be simulated at a lower speed... you mention it happens around your cruise speed of 130 km/h. Assuming you are in 6th gear, this is about 4200 rpm. Perhaps if we drive around at 4200 rpm, a certain frequency range is causing some sort of natural vibration about the way your wires are arranged, could be causing that too...

Leesha,
Here's the map. Should be pretty easy for you.
I circled it in red.
Easy way to do it, would be to take your QEW, up the 403, then up either the 427 or 400 (depends on the traffic).
Hit hwy 7 and go East. As you approach Yonge St., you'll see the big Silver city movie theatres along with alot of other outlets. The Timmies should be right beside Home Depot.
Couldn't be easier...

OMG OMG...LMAO!!! SOOOO.... as the story goes... I posted a vid for a reason. The reason being is that these guys could make sure they saw the problem and then figure out when the light would go on.
.... Now... I have to say thank you to Footman for fixing my car & Neo for watching!!!....
Footman filled my coolant & my car is FIX!!! Whooottttt!!!!
: Drove 1 1/2hrs in traffic and a little over an hr to get home. I must say though I had the most fun everrr with these guys so I don't regret one second of it & have some good memories to post!!
Vids to come and pics...

Wait.........what? I'm lost!
I thought it was your battery light coming on?
Are you trying to tell me it wasn't the battery light all this time, but the coolant low light?
Please for the love of all humanity.....please tell me it wasn't you low coolant light.

Ok so here are the professions who saw the vid above and should have known by the vid that the light in question was my coolant light.
Come on guys you both know more about cars than I do after all....
Thanks for real though no jokes as the dealers weren't smart enough to figure this out either.
It took us 3 to crack the problem....
Light hasn't come on at all and I brought it upto 148. Remember my speedometer is broken by about 50km.
