and marc, its not about keeping your car clean, sometimes on a long drive in really shitty winter weather your car can get so dirty, you dont want to stop and wash the car twice before you get to your destination.

those are shots of my old lancer after a 50km drive last winter on a perticularily bad day. The car was washed the day before.

If this was Andrew's car, I can see him freaking the **** out.

LOL, not with snow.

He posted a pic last year, where his 8 was packed with snow.

Why not just pull the fuse for the headlight washers? I did that within an hour of taking delivery of my car over 5 years ago and I haven't had to worry about the stupid things since. All they do is spray a ton of fluid all over the front of my clean car.

I don't know what the other guys with the Speed bumper did, but I took off the nozzle, stuck a big bolt into the tube to plug it and then hose clamped it.

I would have to disagree. Not that I like having water all over my clean car either, but in most cases if you're activating your windshield spray, then chances are your car was wet/dirty to begin with anyways.

You've never taken a bug-hit in the middle of the windshield of your otherwise clean car?

useless, they should have given us all the TPMS sensors.
Jay, you don't drive your car in the winter so I can see that reasoning, but when you drive your car all winter and do over 100KM a day on the 400 series highways your headlights dirty the **** up in a hurry!

These things have been a godsend to me already.

Thief, you are absolutely correct!!! I was gasping already when I saw that pic! I refuse to let Natalia become as dirty as a **** that white Lancer was

Anyhow, Jay was right too, I did post a pic from last year when my car was COMPLETELY COVERED in ice/snow. If this year is as bad as next year, I'll post up some Dirty Natalia pics.

FYI, with the weather as it is now, I've been on my winter-wash cycle, which is only like once every 2 - 3 weeks. It's impossible to wash these days when the day after it's going to rain/snow.

I have winter performance tires. They are spec'ed for 240kph. I don't drive anywhere near that, but what these tires can do is that, they provide "near" summer tire performance in the winter in those normal speed ranges 0 - 120kph in adverse conditions.

Winter performance tires aren't only differentiated by higher speed limits of the tire versus regular winter tires.

I just got to say this one last line hahahahha:
