Nostalgia set in with the chance encounter with Andrew, and I was just recollecting that this club wasn't merely a 'car club' but rather a brotherhood spread over a wide range of ages and cultures.

The V6 is a LF4 TT 3.6L which would be from a 2017 Cadillac ATS-V, though I built the engine from scratch with all new parts as finding a wrecked ATS-V to buy a donor powertrain is almost impossible.

I swapped a LS into the car in 2015 but I wanted a new challenge and try an engine that no one else had swapped before, so I pulled the LS.

I have a long build thread in the "non-rotary" swap area, I think pages 13+ are where I started the V6 swap, first 12 are of the LS swap.




I will have it done for the beginning of the 2018 season!

 

^ wow! That is impressive!! Looks like the hood won't clear that engine - ?

That engine's output was always impressive, but some reviews chided it for a "lack of character", wonder if a proper exhaust can help with that.

I have only owned Roxy since Dec 2016. She's my 4 wheel version of my Kawasaki ZX-11 so I get my fix both ways. Her vital stats are: 2005 GT in Sunlight Silver Metallic with a 6MT and she resides in Sharon.

 

To all the Rotary buffs in the GTA, our car group (Project 6) hosts a weekly car meet in Vaughan at the Green Grotto Bubble tea shop at 3600 Rutherford Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L 1A6 Wednesday evenings from 8-11pm. We have permission to use their lot and provide drink discounts. We ask everyone who attends the meet to respect the lot (no revving, no burnout, no 2 step and no littering).
