Has anyone had tinting done anywhere east of the GTA (Ajax, etc...). I am looking to get it done in the next week or two and I don't know where there are any reputable shop in the area.
Also, does anyone have any information on the tinting laws in Ontario.

When I go there on Saturday I'll ask for you guys if they can give you a discount. So anyone else wanting to tint, let me know so I know the number to negotiate with.

 

i suggest going to a different place...they do really good jobs...

but i guess if your going to settle for audioheaven maybe we can even have a lil meet there while your waiting for the tint to finish...

Alot of people like to use Vital too....

i personally did all my cars and friends cars there..atleast 10 cars...i own 5 myself...

i did myself 2 mazda3s and 1 matrix ....didn't really want to tint the 8

anyways..i got 200 tax in with solarguard tint....which is amazing...

mind you all those cars had 7 windows......2 front 2 rear and 2 small corners and 1 back....

rx8 only has 2 front and 2 corners and one back...it WILL be cheaper...

Yea I looked at their gallery and looks like they do a good job. Plus they're open on weekends (which is the only time I can go)
Where did you go to get it done? Does it have the lifetime warranty as well? I'm financing my 8 and plan on keeping her.

I'd do the meet but I'm actually bringing my books to study while I wait. My exam for work is on Wednesday...

 

Number 73 in Ontario HTA (link):Unfortunately, unlike other provinces that specify the amount of tint allowed (and officers carry around tint meters to check on the fly), here in Ontario it's up to the officer's interpretation. So if he/she thinks they can't see in, they could technically ticket you. I'd really like someone to tell me otherwise, though, since I'm looking into tinting myself.

yes they are...

they mostly don't do small jobs....they work with dealers...like when u ask for a tinit when u buy ur car...they bring it to 3rd party shops...they don't tint the car them selfs

vital is one of them...mostly deals with hondas and toyotas though.

unlike audio heaven and tint king and fxauto..

thats why you havent heard of them.

Got my tint done yesterday. They did a great job!

Oh I went with the metallic tint and my radio doesnt seem affected by it except when I'm near power lines where the reception becomes distorted.
