A good or cheap place to get a safety in Toronto?

I have to go and pick up a winter beater in Toronto and was wondering if anyone knows of a place that might let a few things go that aren't an immediate safety concern. Not sure what it fully needs just don't have a shop to work on it up there, and letting a shop do the work might be costly for a winter driver.
