Smile Finally, I nice day for a drive in Calgary

After all that cold weather it was nice to have a warm day like today for a chance to push the car a bit. I got the opportunity to do some high speed corners where the sidewalls in my LM-22's were flattening out.....oh Yeah!!!

There didn't seem to be the same amount of traffic or maybe it was just that traffic was moving today with all the slow people in the right lane.

I was so nice to hear that redline beep again!.....I think I need a cigarette. :D

yeah...go sun! :D

I just got back from a trip to Home Depot. The drive home helped relieve some of the stress I got from trying to find the chit I needed and get help in that retarded store.

Been to the one in the NE (near the C-train tracks) and the one on south Macleod...both bad experiences every time I go there. I have to admit I've had better luck at Home Depot than Rona though...holy chit. I like to support Canadian companies but damn are they ever useless. I spent about 45 min. there trying to find 2 things. Asked several floor people for help and they just pointed me in the wrong direction. Finally asked the front desk and the lady seemed to be insulted that I couldn't find stuff my self. So I left.

Took my 8 to Crowfoot Shell yesterday and spent 45 minutes washing the outside, vacuuming the inside, washing the floor mats, spraying down the ski rack, and just generally enjoying a leisurely time with Roxy.

Except that the damn floor mat screw popped out again. That's the second time!

But it was good to have her clean again.

It was a great weekend. Took the 8 out of the garage after a month in the garage. Cruised down to High River on Hwy. 2, the car is almost effortless when accelerating after 100k. Couple more days and then back into the garage since its supposed to snow this weekend. Whew, I agree, I think I need a cigarette as well!
Do you guys deal with Kramer? I bought there, but haven't gone back for the first service yet. I'm approaching 3000, time for the first oil change. One more ?. Are you guys topping with oil from Mazda or are they charging an arm and a leg for it. Thx.

Looking forward to a summer or spring cruise.
