Engine died while in motion
I almost had my car die tonight. I shut it down earlier this afternoon a bit too early and knew the chances of flood were there.
Tonight at minus 12 is crank quite a bit, but using what I learned from this forum I did not back off letting it crank. After about 6 cranks it fired in a rough choking fury.
All is good now.

yes keep cranking. but stop for a few seconds then put your foot to the floor which stops fuel from being injected i know its a bit counter intuitive, but keep cranking it may sound like its about to start stay calm and keep your foot to the floor till it stops sputtering and is just turning over should take about 30 seconds. then wait another 30seconds to let the starter cool. then try to restart as usual should take a bit longer to start put not too long.
okay, similar thing just happened to me...after cruising from dt to hey 7 on 404 @ about 110, i was coming to a stop at the traffic light...i had let off the gas and after i came to a stop, i realizdd my car was really really quiet...i checked and saw that my engine had stalled probably while in motion...it didnt make ay strange sounds...when i started it up again, it took me a while. i had to press on the gas while turning the ignition to start up, after that i couldnt let the engine idle at lower than 2k or it wud stall again, after a few minutes the car was fine... anyone knows what happened?
