Think it was 84 racing that said the Mustang Dyno can show 30% under most other dynos (i.e. dynojet). I heard elsewhere too that MD's are more conservative.

So if you are going to see the effect of a mod and do a before and after using the same dyno you used before, great!

If you are going to see if you got one of the stock cars that can pull north of 200whp on a dyno, it won't be here. Most quoted figures I've seen are not from a mustang dyno.

You are right on 2 counts! It was me who posted and it was me who said mustang dyno can read lower than dyno-jets. If all you want is the highest number possible, find the guy with the oldest dyno. It doesnt make a lot of sense that you want an unrealistic dyno number. Why go in the first place? The whole purpose of dyno running/tuning is accuracy. The mustang dyno will give you an accurate 1/4 mile time and horsepower number. Then when you make a change you will get an accurate reading and know if you are going in the right direction. All of our tuning this year will be on the Pacione dyno. We are interested in accurate and consistent measurements.
BTW: Pacione is having a dyno day April 1, 2006!! From 9am on--call and book now if your interested!

that is what i heard. MD put loads on the car to simulate real world driving. and once you put a load on a you can test 0-60 and 1/4 times

sorry helas, that is where this particular shop is located.

for individuals 3 runs is $75 for a group he said he could do something for us.
