hey everyone. dont know if you all have heard the news, but the dunnville autodrome race track has been closed indefinitly

I was really hoping to go to this track near the end of the season if i could afford it...now that isnt an issue.

obviously the people we allow to call the shots for us are only interested in end of the line solutions to the street racing problem. they just want to hand out speeding tickets and suspend lisences. forget about giving people who enjoy cars as a hobby a place to do it safely.

 

this really upsets me this was such a great track it was the first track it's where i learned to drive. it annoys me so much that they claim its the noise its a ******* airport!!! they constantly have planes going up and down. slightly mad at all those overly loud civics completely unnecessary. i cant remember i was this emotional over something.

 

My grandmother lives 3 minutes away from the airport. I'm out there at least every other weekend. Trucks with off road tires make more noise just driving down the roads at 60 that the track.

 

I have trouble understanding the concerns. As was mentioned, planes take off from there. The track is in the middle of no where.

The Sparta drag strip in St. Thomas was harassed recently as well. They basically rolled over and payed a fine to make it go away. The track has been there forever, but people who bought houses beside the track created a stink.

 

This is so GAY!!

 

I'll bet some AH's want the land to build a subdivision. Just what we need, so responsible driver who want to race will be back on the streets!

More bureaucrats with there heads up their ***!
