Does your differential feel likes it's binding?

Mine does, only on hotter days after long use, usually after letting off the clutch and turning (kind of a chatter with a faint grinding noise). So far I failed to replicate it on service visits, and trying to explain it creates lost puppy dog expressions from service advisors...

Did anyone else experience this, and did you do anything about it?

You could flush the fluid and switch to Redline 75w90... good stuff!

What you seem to be feeling is what you would feel with a locking type differential. When you turn the wheels move at different speeds, and with locking diffs the chatter you feel is the tires skipping on the road. What kind of gear oil are you using? If you changed it from the OEM style and used a "non slip" type oil such as Redline 75W90NS oil, it is NOT for use in limited slip diffs and it would cause exactly what your feeling. The regular Redline as mentioned above is great, just stay away from anything 'Non Slip.

So far I thought I was the only one who had broken a diff. I had a loud pop sound when I was turning left one day. Took it to the dealer and they removed the magnetic drain plug. And viola! Metal everywhere.
Try this scenario. Stop the car, turn the wheel all the way to the left, pull forward slowly. See if that makes the problem more prevalent. Try turning the steering wheel the other other way also to see if it's more noticeable.

The OEM diff fluid is too thin for the diff. It'll bind and pop after 20k. Replace with better synthetic 75W90 gear oil and do it often.

Thanks all, you're "good people" as my dad would say.

I got 45kms so it's time for replacement, will try regular Redline 75W90 oil.

I use Redline in everything I drive. The race car has Redline 20W50 in the engine, Redline MT90 in the trans and Redline Heavy Duty Shockproof Gear Oil in the Diff. My Tow vehicle has 5W30 engine Redline ATF in the trans and Redline 75W90 in the diff. Never had a problem or failure.

I have the same problem. It sounds loader after a long drive with me aswell. the "chatter" sound for me is very load and it sounds and fells like something swinging back and forth under the car. never happens when im going in a striaght line though, only when im turning just as i push the cluch in. This cant be right and dosent seem like a problem that a different fluid can solve.
