Coolant Light and Top Up

This is a first for me and car ownership, had to top up the coolant today. 42K on the odometer and the low coolant lighted flashed twice in the last week on start up. Did the same last night, took note and topped it up tonight.

Anybody else have to top up their coolant?

Regards,

Nigel

i wouldnt worry about it, i had this problem a couple times on really cold start ups, especially if the car sat for more then a day during the winter. After about 15 seconds, it would turn off. I asked the dealer, and they checked, said everything was fine.

Good lord i hope these engine dont turn out to be like the 86 up 13b's, with a thin casting right at the exaust. the coolant seal trace would break off, allowing coolant just to pour straight in to the engine.,
